We may not let Brian book theatre tickets again for a while.
Rough for Theatre II was a 25 minute diversion from the main event and reasonably interesting. Admittedly, had I noticed the running order I wouldn't have ordered an interval G&T having barely finished the first but thank god I did, else Endgame would have been unbearable. (Even more unbearable.)
I blame Miriam Margolyes being all hilarious and entertaining with Alan Cumming and Daniel Radcliffe on Graham Norton. I hate Waiting for Godot. What was I expecting? The audience whooped and hollered at the end. I was pretty delighted it was over too but rather more subdued.
The reviews are stunning, I am gobsmacked.
